On Sunday 21 April the annual aQuellé Tour Durban cycling race took place. The event brought families and friends together to enjoy a scenic cycle along the Durban coast.
The UJ Men’s Junior Football Team emerged victorious at the 2024 Pirates Cup, while JVW secured the women’s championship title. Well done to all the players and thank you to Orlando Pirates for putting together a fantastic tournament.
Paarl Gimnasium hosted the renowned Jean de Villiers Rugby Festival on 21 to 25 March. Top U16 rugby teams from across the country faced each other to fight for the winners’ trophy. aQuellé refuelled the players with the aQuellé ViV Sports and Power drinks.
From 17 to 23 March soccer teams from across the continent competed at the COSAFA Beach Soccer tournament on Durban’s South Beach Arena, with Morocco claiming the victory!
15 & 16 March saw stiff competition between the top athletes of KZN. Well done to all for your outstanding performances. We enjoyed refreshing you with aQuellé!

aQuellé was there to bring refreshment at the renowned Dusi Canoe Marathon from 15 to 17 February. Adventurous canoeists paddled down the uMsunduzi and uMgeni rivers, winding their way from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Well done to all the winners and to each one who completed the challenge!
The weekend of 10 & 11 February saw young and old dive into the challenge of completing their first, or yet another, aQuellé Midmar Mile. Family and friends were there to support and congratulate each swimmer, while aQuellé kept everyone refreshed and hydrated!
We splashed into the new year with the aQuellé River Mile on 19 and 20 January. The picturesque setting on the Sunday’s River, Gqeberha, saw many outstanding miles swum, with family and spectators contributing to a fun friendly atmosphere. Congratulations to the River Mile reaching an incredible milestone of 100 years!
