Cleaning up our communities
Since 2021, the aQuellé Clean-up campaign has brought people together for more than 110 community clean-ups across South Africa, with 21 000 volunteers getting involved.
Community members, municipalities, government departments, soccer clubs, schools and the media have joined aQuellé in encouraging recycling and creating cleaner, healthier and happier communities. Together with the great people of South Africa, we have cleaned up town centres, beaches, riverbanks and neighbourhoods.
On clean-up day, we are there to support our volunteers with a t-shirt, peak, gloves and hydration, while S’khu, our mascot, brings the smiles and keeps the energy going. Every bag filled, street cleaned and child inspired shows how small actions can add up to meaningful change. We are grateful for every person who has stepped forward to make a difference.
